Check if they have app access
Within the employee profile you can see the app access status. Click it to see more details.
Pending log in means they are able to log in, but haven't tried it yet. Here you can also see the email address they need to log in with. You can also resend an invite with the 'Resend invite' button in the bottom right corner.
Employees don't get an invitation email by default. Once they have gotten a draft contract, they can access the app by just downloading it from the App Store and logging in. No invite email needed.
Once they start getting asked to give their availability or they get shifts published, they will get a Whatsapp message with a link to the App Store to download the app.
It is built this way to make sure employees don't get invited too early and end up in an empty app where they can't do anything yet.
Old app
Make sure the employee has the latest version of the app. Make them check the app store and pull down the home screen of the app to get the latest patch.
Check the email address
They should log in with their private email address that you can find in their employee profile. The first email address in the profile is the private email, the second is the work email. This is because even when an employee has left the company, they still need to be able to log in to view their old payslips, contracts and annual statements for tax reasons.
Check spam for the email with the code
When logging in the employee logs in with their email address and receives a 6 digit code on that email address to log in. It could be that this email has ended up in their spam box.
