Log in with the right email address as a manager

How the interaction between private and company email works for managers and which is used for what.

As a manager you will often have two email addresses:

  • Your own private email address

  • Your company/work email address

Both can be used in your employee profile and manager profile, it's up to your preferences. But most common is to use your work email to log in as a manager and to keep your private email address to make sure you keep access to things like your payslip PDF's and annual statements in the Soigné app, even when you don't work at the restaurant anymore.

Email addresses in your employee profile

Make sure you fill both email addresses in your employee profile, your private email at the top and your work email below.

Then check in Settings > Manager, on which email address your manager profile is set.

How your employee profile and manager profile are connected

Finally check if your manager profile and employee profile are connected. They are connected when you see this label. You can click the label to see if you go to the correct employee profile. Make sure it goes to the correct one, sometimes you have double employee profiles and it could be connected to the wrong one. If so, contact Soigné support.

Which email address to use to log in

  • In portal.soigne.app, make sure you log in with the email address from your manager profile.

  • In the Soigné app, make sure to log in with your private email address. If your manager and employee profile are connected, you will be able to do manager tasks in the app while being logged in with your private email address.

    You need to use your private email address because once you've left the company, you can still log in with your private email in the app to keep accessing your payslips and annual statements.
